In order to deliver a compelling user experience, it is necessary to conduct activities that look at the big picture.

Research

I'm a usability advocate. An understanding of what real users do and why they do it is a key part of the process.

I often conduct user interviews and ethnographic research. Through immersing myself in the user's world, I am able to garner new insights and instil empathy.

Nowadays, usable isn't enough. Through considering the customer experience holistically, I aim to raise the bar - to exceed customer expectations through design.

As a Hands-on Practitioner

Working in a hands-on capacity enables me to make a big impact on the design solution.

I'm naturally drawn to the early stages of the process. Sometimes this can involve conceptual ideation of a new product, or realising the potential of an existing product by making radical improvements with innovation.
